Normally, positioning with GPS can be performed by either of two ways: single point positioning SPP, or differential (relative) positioning DGPS. SPP employs one GPS receiver, while DGPS employs two (or more) GPS receivers simultaneously tracking the same satellites. No attention was paid before for the autonomous position produced automatically by default by all receivers’ types.
